Traditional Association of Shotokan Karate and affiliated clubs (“TASK”) keep this policy under regular review and therefore may change this policy from time to time by updating this page – therefore you should check regularly to ensure you are happy with any changes.
This privacy policy sets out how TASK uses and protects any information that you give TASK when you use our website or provide information as part of the registration process.
We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using our website or by registering with our club, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We collect information, when you voluntarily provide it, for purposes of fulfilling your request, as detailed below:
Contact Forms via Website
On our website we provide a contact form for the submission of electronic enquiries.
When you complete the contact form, information such as your name and contact details are required along with the details on the nature of enquiry and/or information to qualify a support request.
We use this information in order to respond specifically to your enquiry/request and it is never used for any other purposes.
Registration Forms
We will request certain personal data about you including name, date of birth, address, and your next of kin should you start training at our club. This will be stored securely and only accessible by club owners. Any data held will be destroyed 30 days after leaving the club.
Licence Application Forms
We will request certain personal data about you to ensure that you are fully insured whilst training within the Association. This will be stored securely and only accessible by relevant TASK members.
All information provided to us is at your own sole discretion.
Links to this Privacy Policy and all other relevant information are provided on every page of our website and we will also directly link to them when a specific form or feature is used that requires any textual input from you.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and membership forms. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless required by law to do so and will only use the information you provided in order to action your request or respond to your query.
